When life knocks you down
Life...sometimes its all we dreamed of,nice home,beautiful kids,amazing husband,and a good job. Love God and worship him daily and give back to your community and those in need all apart of your beautiful life. Then something happens,your husband steps out and leaves you a single mother. Your children start to fail in school,your good job is no longer good enough,you have to pack up and leave out of that beautiful home. As all of this life you once had start to crumble,you forget who God is,even though you know he will NEVER LEAVE NOR FORSAKE you. You seem to have lost your way. Now you are trying to find your way,your friends are pushing you to STEP OUT, have a drink,relax. Partying now because a every weekend thing,tight clothing and a face full of makeup. Your kids long for your attention but its all aimed at social media and keeping up with everyone else. While you are doing these things God sits patiently waiting on you. You think this is the life but deep inside you want better,you begin to cry yourself to sleep at night and start to wonder why. You meet someone who is nice, good job, so you think,but he is living the fast life... You know..money drugs. Now he expects sex from you and for you to worship him. "Thou shall not worship any God expect me"
Now you are caught up in a web you can't get out of all because Life knocked you down. All you had to do was give your worries to God, give your stress to him. He was sitting there waiting on you to give it to him. But you decided to take the EASY way and that's when life just got real.
Now after he puts his hands on you and turn that beautiful face black and blue you run back to the only place that can give you strength courage and the ability to survive anything that may come your way,and that is in Gods arms.
Life...it may get rough, but don't give up
Life...it will knock you down but don't give up
Life...it may be beautiful when you wake then dark when you end the day but don't give up
Life...your bestfriend, sister, father, brother may turn there back on you but don't give up.
Sister you serve a God that sees all and heals all and there is nothing, absolutely NOTHING to hard for him. He loves you he cares for you just give it to him. Proverbs 4:24-26" Keep looking straight ahead without turning aside. Know where you are headed and you will stay on solid ground."
Instead of following the crowd and hitting the clubs with your friends,fall on your knees,get in your prayer closet ,cry out to him. He hears your cry,he know the pain inside your heart because he made you ,he died for you ,he have something BETTER for you. Life did knock you down, but God is still there pick yourself up,speak over yourself,and whatever you do DON'T GIVE UP.
Life it knocked you down... But God will pick you back up and make you stronger wiser and so much better than before.
